Our client is an Environmental Remediation Contractor based in NJ and working on projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic. They are a self-performing contractor providing implementation of remedial systems for soil and ground water clean up. They have a strong client base with both public and private clients and have seen a double-digit year over year growth rate consistently.
In order to continue their growth, we have partnered with them to identify someone capable of leading their business development efforts. You will work closely with the President as well as their senior leadership to drive new business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical knowledge of the remediation business, specifically in soil and groundwater remediation. A network of consultants and owners in the remediation space that can be called on is preferred. Your main focus will be setting up meetings for yourself and leadership to present the firms qualifications with the end goal of increasing the number of RFP’s provided to the company.
Degree in environmental engineering, science, or related is strongly preferred
A strong understanding of the technical aspects of remediation projects
A “rolodex” of Environmental Consultants and/or owners in the Mid Atlantic
A positive attitude- Not easily dissuaded by the word “no”
