Managing Partner / Engineering Recruiter

Since joining the firm in 1993, Brad has developed an outstanding Engineering/Manufacturing practice. His tenacious and honest approach has earned Brad countless company awards, most notably 8 Consultant of the Year designations. He has managed the Engineering team to outstanding results over his tenure. A graduate of East Stroudsburg University, Brad now applies his sports background to coaching youth sports. He resides with his family in Columbia, CT.

John Reever, CPC

Managing Partner / Pharmaceutical Recruiter

John joined RJS Associates in 1991, and developed his reputation as an outstanding recruiter nationwide. He specializes in all aspects of Pharmaceutical R&D and operations and has earned numerous awards while managing the Pharmaceutical team and the Sales Recruitment team. John graduated from the University of Connecticut and over the years, has represented this firm as a speaker, trainer, and board member. Currently, he serves as a member of the Board of Education and is active in youth sports where he resides with his family in Colchester, CT.

Chris brought 3 years of recruiting experience to RJS when he joined the firm in 2002. A graduate of Syracuse University, he manages the Healthcare Technology team and specializes in the placement of professionals throughout the Country. He has been awarded numerous Department and Client Development awards for his achievements. Chris and his family reside in Berlin, CT.

CJ Schmitt
Manager - Civil Engineering

CJ joined RJS Associates in 2015 after starting his career in construction sales.  After being named Rookie of the Year and consistently delivering for his clients, CJ now leads our Civil & Environmental team placing professionals along the East Coast.  Outside of the office, CJ enjoys traveling, golf, and snowboarding.

Heather Stoddard
Operations & Finance Manager

Since joining the firm in 2005, Heather has excelled at every support function within RJS. In 2015 Heather was promoted to the Operations and Finance Manager becoming an integral part of the leadership team at RJS.

Drew Symes, CPC
Manager / Senior Engineering Recruiter/Partner

Drew joined RJS Associates in 2001 and specializes in Engineering/Manufacturing. His strong client relationships have earned him numerous Client Development awards and Department honors. Educated at Seton Hall University, Drew is active in coaching Youth Sports. He resides with his family in Bristol, CT.

Senior Pharmaceutical Recruiter/Partner

Specializing in all aspects of Pharmaceutical R&D, Joe has worked for RJS since 1989. During his time, he has received numerous department and client development awards, including the Consultant of the Year award. He is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University and maintains a passion for golf and racquetball. He and his family reside in Wethersfield, CT.

Joe joins RJS Associates with over 30 years of Information Technology and Management experience.  He specializes in the placement of IT Professionals. Joe enjoys spending time with his family and is a lifelong CT resident.

Rich brings over 20 years of recruiting experience to RJS.  He started at RJS in 1993 and he has excelled in various areas such as IT, Engineering and Scientific in the past; and is now one of the senior members of the Civil Engineering group.  Rich has been awarded numerous Department and Client Development awards for his achievements over the years and is a proud graduate of Providence College.  Rich and his family currently reside in Berlin, CT.

Keye Frank
Civil / Environmental Recruiter

Keye joined RJS in 2018 with a focus on placing top civil and environmental engineering talent. A graduate of the Union College, Keye spends his time outside of work as an assistant football coach at Hall High School and working on political campaigns. He is also actively involved in several philanthropies, whether he is running 5Ks to raise money for cancer research or spending his Thanksgivings delivering meals through Meals on Wheels.

Sherrine Garland
Sales Recruiter

Sherrine Garland joins RJS Associates with 17 years of experience within the Staffing Industry.  Her focus at RJS Associates is in Sales Recruiting.  Sherrine served in the Air Force as a Medical Administrative Specialist. Sherrine was born and raised in CT and currently lives in Manchester, CT.  She enjoys cooking and spending quality time with her family.

Manager of Network Operations

Alan has supervised the computer operations and systems of RJS Associates since 1999. His extensive technical education and experience has been invaluable to the growth of the company. Residing in Bristol, CT, Alan is an avid photographer, camper and is a motorcycle enthusiast.

Paul has specialized in placing manufacturing, engineering and technicians at RJS since 1995. He has earned Client Development awards. A lifelong Greater Hartford resident, Paul and his family now reside in West Hartford, CT.

Jonathan Komm
Pharmaceutical Recruiter

Jonathan joined RJS in 2019 with a focus on placing top pharma and scientific talent. Jonathan holds a BA from UCONN in Political Science and has prior experience working at the Connecticut General Assembly for the Senate. Jonathan’s history of interacting and assisting a broad range of constituents in a fast-paced setting gave him great experience. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his Boxer pup.

Dawn Mayfield
Purchasing Manager / Sales Support

Dawn joined RJS Sales Support team in 2011, and immediately became a valued asset to the firm. Her efficiency and accuracy speeds the process for the recruiting staff in many ways, while she wear many hats being our marketing and purchasing manager. Dawn holds a English degree from Dominican College.

Iman joined RJS in 2019 recruiting in the Environmental/Civil Engineering field. He graduated from CCSU in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, while working in his family’s business. In his free time, Iman likes to spend time with his family and friends, as well as the great outdoors.

Since joining the firm in 2004, Jason has managed a very active Engineering recruiting desk. Bachelor’s from the University of Rhode Island, Masters from Springfield College, he has earned several Client Development awards during his time. Jason and his active family live in Glastonbury, CT.

Brian Pryor
Civil Recruiter

Brian joined RJS in 2019 recruiting top Civil and Engineering talent throughout the country.  Prior to joining the firm, Brian spent a year in SaaS, and has experience in student recruitment nationally. Brian is completing his degree in Spring 2019 from CCSU, with a concentration on Economic History and a minor in Geology.  In his free time Brian enjoys participating in Ballroom dance, Skiing the best slopes, and spending time with family.

Chris Sidavong, CPC
Senior Scientific/Pharmaceutical Recruiter

Chris, specializing in Pharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing, joined the firm in 2006. Educated at Central Connecticut State University, he has received Client Development awards and praise from his clients. When not recruiting, Chris is an avid motorcycle racer and continues playing hockey in his spare time.

Tony Spak
Senior Pharmaceutical / Scientific Recruiter

Tony Spak has been successfully recruiting professionals for over two decades, focused on mid-management to C-Suite executives in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Life Sciences sectors. A proven problem solver, he has maintained a successful track record meeting client recruiting needs and adapting to market demands. Outside of recruiting Tony actively supports his family’s arts endeavors and local charities, while managing to play a bit of golf as well.

Kara joined the RJS Sales Support team in 2012 as a Receptionist. Since then she has successfully taken on many other responsibilities and has become an essential part of the RJS team. She has her BA in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University and enjoys encouraging others about the importance of health and wellness.
