We are seeking a talented and motivated Process Chemist with expertise in crystallization to join this dynamic team.
As a Process Chemist you will play a pivotal role in the development of pharmaceutical Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). Your proficiency in crystallization techniques will be vital in optimizing and scaling up synthetic processes to ensure the efficient production of high-quality APIs. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including chemists, engineers, and researchers, to drive innovation and contribute to the success of our groundbreaking projects.
- Design and execute experiments to develop robust crystallization processes for API production.
- Utilize your expertise in crystallization to optimize yields, purities, and particle size distributions of APIs.
- Scale up processes from laboratory to pilot plant and ultimately to commercial production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve process-related challenges.
- Characterize crystalline materials using advanced analytical techniques.
- Contribute to process safety assessments and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records, generate technical reports, and present findings to internal stakeholders.
- Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field with a strong focus on crystallization techniques with 2-3 years of industry experience preferred.
- Proven experience in developing and optimizing crystallization processes for pharmaceutical APIs.
- Proficiency in utilizing a range of analytical techniques for characterizing crystalline materials.
- Familiarity with process scale-up considerations and working knowledge of pilot plant operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to API development is a plus.
