Job Description:

Plant Controller, near Albany, NY for a well established Pharmaceutical manufacturer and profitable $700M divisional business. The American drug supply is highly reliant on this plant for pain and addiction treatment. Generous relocation package or commitment to 25% on-site.

This role:

• Contributes to the business strategy, financing and operations of the site as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.
• Works closely with Site and Corporate leadership and as Business Partner to Operational leaders.
• Is responsible for providing leadership and direction in the areas of accounting, corporate reporting, risk, compliance, finance, and treasury.
• Leads and manages site Accounting (Cost Accountant, General Accountant, Payroll & AP) and Management Information Services activities and personnel to enhance site productivity and results.
• Ensures compliance with GAAP and company policies.

Job Requirements:   

• Has worked in a Manufacturing setting, ability to effectively work cross-functionally to drive site results.  Possesses a thorough working knowledge of general accounting, strong Standard Cost Accounting experience, the ability to ensure GAAP compliance and has effectively managed staff.
