2nd shift
3:30pm-12:30am
Summary: Responsible for set‑up of all deburring equipment and complete standards set by the customer by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Sets up all phases of cutting and deburring operations.
- Ability to use cutoff wheels, and abrasive deburring equipment such as hand head motorized grinders, belt sanders, wire brushes, scrapers, files and other related tools.
- Able to work to fine finishes using scopes with up to 30 power magnification.
- Removes all loose burrs using assorted abrasive tooling.
- Able to form full radius on parts to conform to blueprints.
- Uses inspection equipment such as verniers, micrometers and scales.
- Able to blend finishes meeting customer specifications.
- Ability to read and understand cutting and deburring instructions from work orders, prints or verbal orders.
- Responsible for making out production paperwork and inspection procedures.
- Reports any discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
- Maintains tools, gages, and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
- Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.
- Required to pass the Certified Operator program and maintain certification status.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Five years’ experience in Aerospace industry preferred.
